The Changing Landscape of UK Cyber Security

Covid-19 has been a catalyst for cybersecurity issues in the UK with attacks becoming more common, often more damaging and more sophisticated. We’re now at the stage where 46% of businesses have reported having cyber breaches or attacks in the last 12 months (Cyber Security Breaches Survey, 2020) and this doesn’t look to let up anytime soon.

To help provide some advice on how to counter-act this trend, our CEO Rob Demain is speaking at the Institute of Government and Public Policy’s digital event – ‘The Changing Landscape of Cyber Security in the UK’ on 22nd April 2021. This event brings together a range of speakers looking at how organisations can improve their resilience and ability to identify and manage cyber risks.

At 10:00 am Rob will be discussing the key challenges facing security teams in 2021 and understanding why the traditional Security Operation Centre model isn’t fit to deal with these challenges before looking at an alternative way to deal with threats. This will be followed by a short Q&A session around 10.50 am.
